RFK Jr cited the attached study when criticizing the DPT (diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis) vaccine.

Children that received the DPT vaccine had a higher mortality rate than kids who did not get the DPT vax.

In an ‘accidental’ (yeah, ha ha ha) oversight, WAPO ‘forgot’ to reference this study when bashing RFK Jr for failing to ‘follow the science’ when embarking on another of his campaign to expose past corruption from within America’s Gates’ Foundation / pharma industry compromised health agencies as a key step towards eventual restoration of trust in those agencies by the public.

Dear Pharma Industry shills: You’re up.

The DTP vaccine described in the study in Africa has been largely replaced with the DTaP vaccine for many, many years as the acellular Pertussis vaccine is much safer than the cellular variant given in Africa

The study you mention involved the cellular variant which did have some significant side effects including death.

Diphtheria, Pertussis and Tetanus are diseases not to be trifled with.

Do you have a study for DTaP which has been used here for over 25 years?

Apples to apples is not evident here.

This has been debunked by WHO in 2004 their vaccine safety committee unanimously rejected these claims after investigation. The study has major flaws and couldn't be replicated in other countries. Modern surveillance of millions of children shows no mortality increase.

Stop spreading dangerous misinformation. False vaccine claims kill children by reducing vaccination rates. Stick to actual science, not cherry-picked studies that contradict overwhelming evidence.

Thanks for adding to what I also forgot to post. Retrospective analysis of data to arrive at a conclusion is fraught with problems.The study indeed had major flaws.
