Will yall be watching? Does anyone care?
For those that like to bet the race, my very limited research tells me.

Of course we will be watching, it is the Derby. We never watch until about 30 minutes before post because I do not care about all the early races.

I watch maybe three horse races per year, and that is if there is a Triple Crown on the line. But it is a good excuse to drink, so there is that.
Go Tigers!

You have to attend at least one Ky Derby. It is an all day party. It ranks with the top sports events that have to be on your bucket list. The Indy 500 is another. As well as the NCAA final. I have attended several Ky Derbies. In fact, I spend a week there, being there on the opening day of Derby week. You can see 7-8 horse races every day and have great seats and go to paddock area and watch them saddle the horses and mount and parade to track. Really get up close to those beautiful animals. When Derby week starts, the harness races end. Harness races are pretty good, but no where near the derby races.

I like your picks.
There have been some good races in the Kentucky Oaks today.

It's worse than golf and curling...

I guess everyone has the things they hate. I enjoy watching golf, curling during the olympics is ok, and cannot stand horse racing.

It’s wild how big it is here in Kentucky. It’s honestly bigger than Christmas, all the stores decorate and have all kinds of Derby specials, deals, etc. Last years was awesome, probably my all time favorite.

It’s true. I wasn’t sure how all my Clemson gear would mesh here, they are surprisingly welcoming of it and aren’t really aware of our recent two year “slide” and just say how great we are and tell me, “We’re good with Clemson, we would have problems if you were a Louisville or Duke fan.”

Always enjoy it. I know nothing about horse racing but love to watch it. Maybe a little wager to make it more interesting.
