It looks like you would need to be ranked 10th to be safe. With the G5 and B12 being q2th or out of top 12.

Watch where the committee puts us. That is the only ranking that matters. That will tell you how close we really are.

We are only in (with a win over SC) if 1 of the following things occur
1. We jump Indiana
2. We jump smu after Miami beats them in Charlotte
3. We jump Miami after smu beats them in Charlotte
4. Cuse beats Miami and we beat SMU in Charlotte

I don't think we will jump the loser of the ACC championship. The loser will only have two losses (same as us) and probably shouldn't be penalized for playing an extra game. It would have to be a crushing blowout in my opinion.

The AP has us ahead of all those 3 loss SEC teams...the CFP won't! They are working overtime to figure out how to get at least 4, preferably 5, SEC teams in the playoff! The committee prefers to have 5 SEC and 4 Big 10 teams in, and only one each from ACC, Big 12 and G5!
