I think that a lot of this has to do with access. I remember a time when Tiger football was on TV several times a year and many other games were radio only. Very few basketball games and even less baseball on TV. The increase in sports channels has allowed us to see much more content, so I believe that attracts more fans for the non-football sports.
Another issue is age in that soccer was just coming to the US when I was in college and most women's sports were intermural, if they were organized at all. My point is that your top sports may well not be mine and that's fine.
For the first time ever, I watched men's soccer as we won the ACC and then the NCAA this year and I enjoyed it a lot. I still am leaning the rules, but I'm trying. By now you've probably guessed that I'm a Boomer and like most of us, I'm #### proud of it. Go TIGERS

Ever notice all the basketball on the major sports networks, but never baseball, soccer etc?

I seldom watch any of the other sports, to be honest. And, depending on the matchup, softball may well usurp beisaball if both are on at the same time, which seems to be the penchant of the schedulers.

Softball - Really like the speed of the game, the personalities of the players, how competitive we are, and how much fun and easy the games are to attend
Football - I love Clemson football, but college football in general is just getting out of hand with NIL and transfer portal, ticket prices, and all that
Men's Soccer
Women's Soccer
Lacrosse - it's fun watching a new program, and we have such an awesome facility that looks great on TV as well as in person. We have a really good team and a lot of potential.
Gymnastics - again, really fun watching a new program, seeing the enthusiasm of the coaches and athletes, and as the father of a daughter, I love how this is a true family sport and how much support it's getting from the Clemson nation
Men's Basketball - never been a big basketball fan, and they so frequently seem to let me down as soon as I get my hopes up, but always a fan and will always pull for them
Baseball - never been a big baseball fan either. Possibly the slowest major sport and most boring to watch. A 3-hour game can be summed up in less than 5 minutes of highlights most of the time.
Women's Basketball - wish I was more of a basketball fan and could appreciate their game. Hate seeing Littlejohn so empty when they play, but I just can't get into it, and we've never really been very good.
I follow almost all the others on Instagram - M & W tennis, rowing, track & field, but none of those are really big spectator sports
Golf - sorry. Dead last. Never cared much for golf. But Go Tigers!

More than track, golf or rowing.
College tennis matches are great when there are a lot of fans (doesn’t happen at Clemson really but I’ve been to other venues with lots of fans and intense tennis crowds. Like UGA, Baylor, Texas, Virginia etc.) if the entire stands were ever filled for a match at Clemson, it would be a pretty sweet experience.
Six matches at once, no dead time and you can usually get right behind the action. Crowd encouraged to get into it. You can yell at opponents and stuff, unlike pro tennis.

Yeah, I used to play tennis and have always enjoyed watching the major pro tournaments, but I guess what I meant was that they're rarely, if ever, on TV and it's not generally one that you go to watch on campus. Not like football, baseball, softball, basketball, lacrosse, soccer, etc - it's just a different sport to watch.

Because of the 6 courts thing. Very hard to track multiple courts. One of the only NCAA sports not shown on ESPN because of that.
I do think it can be a part of campus culture to some extent. Only a handful of schools have done it. I hate Georgia but I envy their tennis culture and tradition (pic of their filled stadium attached). TCU has recently done the same, embedded it into their culture more.
At Clemson it’s definitely not. You see the same people going to matches.

Notes: I have seen each of these teams play in person; gymnastics might break into my top 10 if my wife and I can get to a meet (a priority of hers). While I will pull for any Clemson team in any competition, tennis just doesn't interest me as a spectator sport (maybe during Wimbledon), and I don't understand Lacrosse well enough. But then again, I can't say I know the rules of soccer, either.
