That’s everywhere. People be fat. I was one of them last year! Five days a week at the gym fixed that! And a diet overhaul. What you put in is 40% of it!

That's because nobody walks in SC. Nine out of ten neighborhoods have no sidewalks as do very few roads. Very few participate in outdoor sports as recreation either. When I was growing up and even through my early thirties I played basketball and tennis whenever there was a an outdoor court available. There's not many in SC that I've seen. Not everyone joins the Ymca, attends a church with a basketball court or joins a racket club either. Golfing has potential but nearly everyone rides in a cart. Hiking is relegated to a very small slice of the population. Fishing and hunting includes a lot of sitting unless you're trying to jump rabbits and game birds.
I may get many rebuttals but physical activity is a lifestyle. I don't see that in SC.

This same listing has San Francisco as the healthiest place to live. Not sure I would put a lot of stock in this one.
