Against their team. They've never played a football game at Clemson and with the SEC going to nine games, and us playing ND every year til 2038, they may never be back.

It’s this. My BIL is coming up mid week with his friends. They are all LSU grads. They basically said the same thing. This is a once in a life time matchup at Clemson. The same will be said next year for Clemson travelling to LSU.
Big CFB fans take the opportunities they are given like this if they can afford it.
My oldest who’s a senior at Clemson is gonna take them out downtown on Friday.

SEC teams travel. If you get in with us I think you'll need more seats. Larger ticket allocation for visiting teams plus more excitement/lots more big games for you. Win/win for you and us.

You're right we've never had a fan base that travels play in DV. FSU, Louisville, UNC; they have no fans. How bout the smallest fan base in CFB the Notre Dame fighting Irish. They didn't bring anyone. It's a good thing too that we've never played Jawja at home; being 90 minutes away I'm guessing they'd travel well.

You're used to ONE big game a year.....that's it. It would be all the time with SEC teams coming in there. Do these teams you mention bring 10 to 20 thousand fans?? You have no idea what real competition is within a conference.

Your home schedule is EXACTLY like ours; except ours is actually better. We both have one legit top 10 teams (LSU and Jawja), we both have a national power down on their luck (FSU and OU), we both have a pretty decent top flight academic school(Duke and Vandy), 2nd tier conference school (Syracuse and Arkansas), and some money games; although you have 3 scrubs and we only have 2. Instead of a third filler game we actually play a 2024 CFP playoff team in SMU. Wow it’s a real murderers row you have there in Nealon.
Now off you go tool we don’t need you here.

Actually, LSU returned some of their 6,000 ticket allotment.
Clemson had more fans in Santa Clara, California when we beat the Crimson Tide 44-16 for the National Championship. And Clemson had more fans than Alabama in Glendale, Arizona when Bama won. Quit acting like Clemson isn't familiar with fan bases that travel.

I think It is pretty common for them to start arriving on Tuesday, especially those is RV's. Just like we have some folks to travel to away games Tuesday/Wednesday. Different set up, but the 3 times i have gone to BC games we basically stayed a week in Boston. Those were more about Boston than the game.

Well , I do read on TNet that we invite opponents fans to come see this, come see that, go here and eat, go there and eat. They can’t do it all on game day. Don’t forget, they’re spending $$ in the area. Don’t invite people to come and then complain that they’re in town. I do get a vibe on here that there’s going to be trouble on every corner this weekend. I think there’s law enforcement in the Real Death Valley and think they know what to do. Go Clemson Tigers!!!
I know this won’t go over well with some of you, but just be the adult and don’t get suckered into lowering your standards.

Monday is a tad aggressive, but there is plenty of retired LSU folk in the RV headed wherever the Tigers are throughout the fall. I imagine the rest of the crew will start to roll in Thursday/Friday. I'm sure every team claims this, but I'm not sure you'll see an out of conference opponent travel like the Tigers will.
#### we took over Seattle, Washington in 2009 about as far away from Louisiana as you can get.
We're also craving these kind of home and home environments. We've hosed by our Athletic Department forcing us into neutral site games since 2010. Since then, 10 of our 15 openers have been at Neutral sites. We missed home and homes with TCU/OREGON/WISCONSIN/FSU in that window. As a college football fan, I hate that. We also haven't played a Saturday Labor Day weekend game in 4 years.
UT in 2019 with the return trip that Covid ruined in 2020 feels very similar. Two passionate fanbases needing a big win to start the year.
