I don't hear radio much these days, but today was hauling my 23 year old boat to a dealer in Piedmont.
The radio guy was on a rant as to Brad being the best ever coach.
I know some here disagree. I believe on Tnet it is kinda like the USA political system where one is required to stand their ground no matter what.

Personally, I have never had a problem with Brad or anyone who is not not coaching football.
I don't want to cripple the football budget with things like basketball or volleyball, but other than that just see it all as a fun off season diversion.

it was probably Walt. I am very satisfied with Coach Brownell and he is doing a very good job now, but he paints it a little too thick for my taste....

To be fair he was completely right predicting Clemson to go to the elite 8, before the season, last year. Walt knows basketball. I know he’s arrogant but he does know basketball. Has any other Clemson basketball coach taken Clemson to a sweet 16 and an elite 8?
There is a real argument to make for him being a top 10 coach in the country.

I’ve never had strong opinions either way about a Clemson basketball coach either. I just want to see the team win. Not my job to figure out how we get there. My stronger opinions about a couple of football coaches have been on the positive side because we have had a couple of coaches that took our football team to the highest level of winning. I’ve never been real negative about the other football coaches either. That may also be because I’m just a positive person in general too. I try not to waste time and energy on negative thoughts.
