HE had to start lacrosse and gymnastics because he LOST the lawsuit our brave track and xc student-athletes brought against Clemson. 2 women's sports (now Lacrosse and gymnastics) were those sports. SO RADO didn't bring us SQUAT!!!!!
Do you have any idea how much $$$$ he cost the school because of his actions? Literally tens of millions of dollars. Almost a million $$$ in legal fees Clemson had to pay our lawyers and THEN he had to start 2 new women's programs as part of the settlement. And those sports had to have a minimum # of athletes and will cost the school literally tens of millions of dollars.....
All because he could not run 50m as a lousy punter in college so he hates runners. He cut men's XC at the fake USC when he was asst AD there and he tried to eliminate track and xc @ GA TEch but could not because the BOT blocked him

At least the outcome was great. It's better the way it ended than the way it started, so all is fair in love and war, right?
Im not concerned about Clemson's spend of dollars on sports, I just like having them.

Radakovich said that Miami is still well-positioned in the ACC. That is after Clemson and Florida State leaves, along with UNC, GA. Tech, Louisville, NC State, VA. Tech, Duke and Boston College.

He's a complete idiot. I had heard that well before he left Clemson - just no awareness of things.
He says that because Texas and OK decided that they couldn't get out of their GOR, he thinks Clemson and FSU can't either?
Did it dawn on him (apparently not) that maybe the verbiage of the grant of rights isn't the same? Did it dawn on him that the circumstances of making that grant of rights is different, e.g. granting rights that don't exist at the time of the grant, like the rights under the ESPN contract?
He has a "Jethro" look about him. A bit of a mouth-breather. Sometimes, what comes out of that stupid look and open mouth actually match.

Or maybe by the time Texas and OU legal battle would be over, they could get out of the short term GOR in the Big XII when it ran out, so no need to spend all that money on lawyers when the timing of getting out would be similar with or without legal action.

Many times I agree with you Judge but not on this one. He is Single-handedly responsible for that foolish decision to try and cut our Men's Cross Country and Track Programs. Of course, we know how that worked out. I guess Women's Lacrosse and Women's Gymnastics can both thank him for that decision...because without our track/xc Student-athletes both winning their title 9 lawsuits against him, we would have never had the legal settlement that created the oppty for those 2 sports.

Of course that isn’t all due to his efforts, since many coaches, players, staff members, and fans played a role in that as well. But he oversaw and had something to do with that success.
I certainly agree that he wasn’t perfect. I didn’t want the track and cross country programs to be cut either, but I do think COVID had a lot to do with why we felt it was necessary. He didn’t do that all by himself, you know.

AS he told us during this fight, HE and HE alone was responsible for recommending the cutting of the programs to the BOT. Do you have any idea how much $$$$ he cost the school because of his actions? and since become a bad/unfair/illegal one?
If so, how did that happen?
Did we receive bad legal counsel when we, along with every other ACC institution, signed the original deal joining us at the hip to the ACC for 20 years?
OR, did we decide since then that we wished we hadn’t signed it because the landscape in college athletics has changed, and we had an “oh crap” moment and realized that our only way out is to sue?
I’m going with the latter.

After Clemson and FSU leaves they want to be the tallest midget among the rest. Only way they can win an ACC title in football.

Clemson and FSU will be out of the ACC but I do feel ACC will survive. They will be able to add a few more quality schools.

Look, I’m for Clemson leaving the ACC. With that said, Clemson DEFINITELY has a landing spot. Otherwise we would have never filed the lawsuit. Miami may not. He’s doing what’s best for Miami. I’m sure he’s saying one thing while also reaching out to see where they could land as well. Maybe the only option for them is the Big 12? If that’s the case for now it would be better to try and keep the ACC together.
Again, I’m all for leaving. What’s good for Clemson isn’t good for a lot of other schools in our conference. Just sayin.
Also, I liked Radakovich. I believe he was a very good AD for us. He brought us softball which we have wanted forever and he landed a great coach. He brought us gymnastics which was amazing and really fun this year. Honestly, I’m shocked by the comments on here about him.
Anyways, just my two cents.
