At the end of the game, when UoL spiked the football, why did they treat it like a timeout instead of just an incomplete pass? Rodney Williams asked the same question, but I was wondering if there was some sort of rule. I would think that an incomplete pass stops the game clock, but once they reset the ball, the play clock should've started. I know they took well over 25 seconds to get the final play off because they went and talked to the coaches. Anyways, did anyone else notice that or anyone know the rule? I'm glad it didn't hurt us, but that would have moved them back 5 yards.
