Dabo has always came through with hires after someone left or let go

Offensive Coordinator: Billy Napier to Chad Morris to Jeff Scott/Tony Elliot

Defensive Coordinator: Kevin Steele to Brent Venables

I would say he has made some GREAT hires. Dabo knows how to hire and who to look for. Dabo knew this day was coming so he probably has had his eye on someone for a while now.

Time will tell who that may be but from past hires I trust he will find the right pick for DC.


With that being said, Brent Venables served The Tigers well and if there were ever a coach who deserves a head coach opportunity it would be him. It sucks that he is leaving but we THANK YOU for what you did here at Clemson and wish you good luck at Oklahoma (except when/if we face off against the Sooners of course)
