Still Cant watch ACC Extra

I asked about this a couple of weeks ago and got several ideas. Tried all of them but still no go. I’ve tried from the ESPN app and straight to internet. It works on my laptop( MAC) but not on phone or IPad. I have tried several different WiFi’s. I have reset everything many times. I’m out of ideas- thanks for any advice!

Sorry the photo is upside down. The error message says Unable to Play Video. 0033.The customer is not authorized for the content requested.

I restarted my phone after getting that message and could access the game. The ESPN app gets funny like that sometimes.

Try logging out of ESPN . Then restart the phone

And go to the ESPN app and login. Don't know if it will work for you, but it did for me. Had to enter TV provider information.

If iOS, remember your provider is part of the OS Settings. Remove from there. The app just accesses it centrally. It does have a cache, so you can clear the app cache also. But deleting the app and reinstalling it might get that done all-the-while telling the app to go through the initialization steps (e.g. is the Provider set, etc.) and prompt you.

You need to sign out of espn and back in...they have upgrades and you need resign in.

Hey, I had the same issue and was not able log out via the app-even when clicking logout.

As such, I had to go to settings and specifically the ESPN app. Try selecting the very last feature “Clear TV Provider Upon Launch.”

It’s a bit of a PITA because you will have to log in EVERY time you want to watch a game, but at least this works for me.
