I like Brownell, and I don't want him fired if he can win

big with the players he is recruiting. I am very skeptical that he can, however, and if he doesn't, he will have to go.
My hope is that Brownell will be here long enough to see a new, impressive arena built, which would be a signal to top recruits that Clemson is serious about basketball, and help him get the players he needs.

when Dabo signs a borderline "star" rated player, T-Netters rant about all the great two star players who become All American, All Pro, etc.
Yet BB signs a player who has some size, good shooting skills and range, seems to be a quality player. Guess what, he didn't check the rating service before he offered him.
Part of me wishes BB would leave, we get some other BB coach who fails, we start over again while BB goes to a school with fans who have a clue about the program, his coaching abilities and ability to build a winning program.
