The very definition of #marriedtwokids

Friday - Parents' night out at daycare, so pizza then a couple hours of ticket-winning shenanigans at Dave and Busters for wifeof- and I. Good times.
Saturday - Up with the kids, pancakes for breakfast. Got in a long run while wifeof- watched sonof's basketball game (10mi @ 7:24/mi). Lunch at home then spent the afternoon at a birthday party then went to Target (went in for one thing, came out $150 less in the bank account) and dinner. Highlight of the evening was, after watching episode 4 of Designated Survivor, wifeof- and I decided it was too slow and disinteresting enough that we deleted the rest of them. Interesting concept, but the show seemed to be moving at a Nathaniel Hawthorne Scarlet Letter pace (the book, not the Demi Moore movie). Eff that noise.
Sunday - church, Costco, lunch, grocery store, the norms. Cheer practice for daughterof-
I did notice while I was at Kroger with sonof- that they were carrying Elysium Space Dust (noms), but I have a fridge full of IPAs, so I let it be. Was really hoping for a brown ale last night and. IPA's? Plenty. Stouts? Sure. Porters? There were a few. #### if that brown ale wasn't nigh impossible to find. Went home with the last sixer of Cigar City Maduro, which is good, but $12. Lone Rider Josie Brown would have made me happier.

I just stayed in my yard, but I was really angry so I marched. Even made a sign. I'm not sure it was filmed and I got on TV, but no doubt those evil people got the message. Left the sign on the ground for somebody else to pick up, just to show just how angry I am.
Felt good to do this as I am helping America. Can't wait to do it again next weekend.

Got too close to a racoon.

We had a pet raccoon for two days (long party) who would hang out with us. We thought he was a nice furry guy, but then he betrayed us. We were pretty drunk, he left, came back with friends, looted our house.
I don’t want to be anti raccoon, but it is hard for me to trust them now. If you read this Fritz: Reconsider. Come back and we’ll start over.

raccoons are mean, nasty animals

after a "family" of them slaughtered my chickens, I trapped a couple. They killed the chickens for sport evidently, as almost none of the carcasses were eaten, just maimed and killed.
They can actually bark like a dog when at their height of rage. Dealing with an angry raccoon is not easy. A .22 bullet handled them adequately though.

get a big ole can of tannerite, cover it in corn, food scraps, trash....you know, trash panda bait. Drink beer on porch with just enough light on the target area so that you can see the little ######## celebrating and plundering. When the crowd is gathered and concentrated, shoot the tannerite. Revel in your cruelty, savagery, and awesomeness.

Friday: Gym for a quick run, daughter's basketball game, dinner, episode of Shameless, bed
Saturday: Up early for gym (lifting and short run), early lunch, a few errands, ARSENAL BEATS SOUTHAMPTOM 5-0 IN THE FA CUP, naps, daughter and wife went to Olive Garden for dinner with Grandmother, me and the boys went for pizza, bedtime.
Sunday: Up early, do taxes on Credit Karma (FREE), late for church cause Taxes and kids, church, lunch, home for naps, daughter's basketball practice, Walmart for groceries*, home, bedtime
7/10 cause typical weekend without Football.
*#### walmart, that place is the worst. TWO LINES OPEN and a crowded store. I sweatergawdmane, I did self checkout with 20 or so things because the other lines were even longer. Out of the 10 self checkout kiosks, only 3 take cash so that line got crazy too. Apparently most people in York don't have bank accounts and only deal in cash.

I was reading up on it on r/personalfinance and they were raving. CK makes money by selling you stuff and they make that clear. If you do not buy into their stuff, you don't pay anything. It was easy but I had all my docs and had already done everything on Turbo Tax. The numbers matched up VERY well. Also, my taxes are really easy, so it doesn't take a rocket surgeon.
This is their method of business...
How we stay free Credit Karma will always be free. The offers on our site help us keep it that way. When you take an offer through Credit Karma (like for a credit card or a loan), we usually make some money from one of our partners (like the bank that issues the card or the lender who funds your loan).
We'll even crunch the numbers and give you personalized recommendations. When those tips are on target, we both win. But if you're not interested, that's totally fine too - you'll never get charged for using Credit Karma.

Friday, follow up appointment with eye doctor that removed lesion from my eyelid. Pathology report clear, no cancer, so that's like, kinda good, and stuff
Saturday, took wife and kids to Augusta to do some shopping. Wife found pair of shoes she wanted, in her size, marked down to $5. UDP win! Supper at Steak 'n Shake. Another UDP win.
Sunday, took kids to church, not much else.

Friday, came home and made spaghetti, because craving it. Ate, flopped into Big Chair, and watched first four episodes of Sneaky Pete, crashed.
Saturday, woke up and bolstered my existence with a pot or two of coffee, then we started in on regualr chores and putting the kitchen back together. Had new granite countertop installed 2 weeks ago, and Contracticans Juan and Pedro came and put up the tile backsplash on Friday, so I spent most of the early part of the day getting back to normalcy. Knocked out many other chores, watched Clemson inexplicably win a basketball game, took Tiger for her Saturday ride in the truck to the dump and QT for a fill up with petrol, then back home to play in the yard. Started to get cold as the sun went down, so called it a day and we fixed a fresh, healthy salad for dinner. Climbed back into Big Chair and watched three episodes of Sneaky Pete, then flipped to Austin City Limits for Band of Horses and Parker Millsap. BOH was good, Parker Millsap was GREAT.
Sunday, woke up and fed the coffee monster, made an egg sandwich in my new As Seen On TV copper skillet and was impressed at frying eggs covered in cheese with no oil and NO sticking to the pan. Took Tiger out for a nice long walk in the brisk wind, came back in and warmed up then went to Walmart. It was a nightmare, and to make matters worse, the coots have started to crawl out from under their worm-infested rocks and brave wearing their cootwear again. The upside is that you can distinguish these horribly vile, filthy people from normal humans when they wear their swag, so there's that. Came home and got my new air compressor up and running, played with it for a bit and then back inside to fix dinner. Made Sloppy Joes and sweet tater fries, cleaned up, finished the night sipping a double Eagle rare and watched some of the boring Pro Bowl.
All in all, it was a solid 7 out of 10 Yelp stars. Kinda what we needed after both the Mrs. and I battling the winter crud for the last two weeks. I'm just starting to feel like it's finally going away, she is still trying to get past it. Come on Spring.

Friday, left RVA for a meeting in Cary (Confined Area for Relocated Yankees). Went from there to Myrtle Beach for a weekend frat reunion. Watched the 81 Natty after going to the Crab Catcher in Little River. Had oysters, flounders and beer. Lots of libations and debauchery ensued.
Sattidy, went out for breakfast then vegged out telling college stories and fart jokes, watched Brown Ale finally win a game and they the coot crushing. We cooked up a Low Country Boil then watch this years Natty.
Sunday, cooked up shrimps and grits for b'fast then drove to the 'lectric city.
9/10 (-1 for having to drive 754 miles)

Friday: After work, swung by a pizza joint. Had a wake-n-bake stout while waiting for said pizza. Calm, relaxing night with Ellie and Red.
Saturday: Red went to Charlotte for a baby shower, so I cleaned the apartment in the morning. In the afternoon, Ellie and I went and explored Umstead Park with the new shiny camera I got Red for Christmas. Here are a few of my favorite pics I managed to get. Took about three hours to walk/play for six miles.
I still have a lot of work to do with the camera, but I am getting a hang of things and finding out what good light and angles are.
Picked up Bojangles for dinner. My bwhole really regretted that one minutes later.
Sunday: Ran a few miles in the morning. Grocery shopped. Made homemade stromboli for Red and I. Lounged around and did a whole lot of nothing from about 3 till we got in bed.

I saw the National Championship trophy!

Walking the dog around campus on Saturday, we walked up to the new football building. They had Tiger Rag blasting on a speaker outside and in the lobby area they were playing the shamecock game on a huge screen and had the National Championship trophy and the coach trophy displayed. Could not get a picture of it because of the sun and glare.
Earlier in the day I happened to be driving down Pleasantburg Dr in gville and stopped at the Pita House. Gyro sandwich was good and huge but the falafel balls were amazing. Will go back. Also need to check out Frodo's since I have not been there in 20 years.

Went to a boat show, saw a $623K center console, and a few other nice boats as well. Not sure if I'll sell mine or not yet but saw a few prospective candidates.
Went out later and has some wings, saw a band or two, and proceeded to drink entirely too much and felt terrible all day yesterday. I ain't 25 anymore, that's for sure.

Friday cooked some trout on the grill, drank beer, and relaxed. Went to the boat show Saturday and began the hunt for my boats eventual replacement. Few observations.....
Floor space seems to be getting less and less on anything but pontoons. Boats 2' bigger than mine have less floor space, do not like. Some of the fit and finishes I saw were turrible. Chaparral is officially no longer a premium brand boat IMO. They're getting left behind, in both amenities, design, and little things like the latch for the head compartment. They seem....cheaper, but don't have the price tag to reflect that. The Hurricane 2486 was just awful, it would have looked dated in 2004. Looked like it had been reupholstered 3 times by somebodies buddy down the street.
Cobalts are definitely top dog, with Crownline right behind them. The Sea Rays were OK, but I didn't particularly like the seats. Sad to see Chaparral going downhill. I wouldn't ever buy anything from Strickland Marine again anyway, but I always did love the Chaps.

upholstery. Everywhere is a seat! We see a bit different kind of boat down here at the shows, but upholstery + salt water + sun = very expensive in 3-5 years.
Also because of the ridiculous costs (just about anything >20 feet is also >$60K), I noticed a couple manufacturers that are offering stripped down center consoles, simple T-top, and an engine. Bare bones basic. I think this will be a big trend in the next few years.
Local Grady White/Sea Hunt/Hurricane dealer told me he is selling more boats than he ever has. He is still getting 3% interest rates for 15 years--fueling even the cash buyers to finance.

Is atleast $70k. I hate the idea of basically mortgaging a boat, but I sure as ##### wouldn't mind a smaller payment.
the wakeboard boats have become totally ridiculous, touch screens, electronics galore.....there's gonna be some u happy customers in 2-3 years when that junk starts crapping out.

Friday - Nada after work, picked up take out crashed at the house with chickof
Saturday up early, car packed with winter clothes and a picnic lunch. Hit the snow tubing slopes at Hawksnest near Banner Elk. Had a solid time tubing, lots of funs were had. Got home and cooked homemade chicken noodle soup to warm the f up. Also played hide the PEN15 in the meat wallet to stay warm of course.
Sunday up early again. headed up to Wolf Ridge in Mars Hill to teach chickof how to snow ski. It was actually snowing, big flakes and lots of it. Got to ski on the good stuff. Headed home to cook lemon rosemary lamb chops in the cast iron skillet along with fried potatoes on the griddle and a squash onion zucchini melody. This was followed up with oreos dunked in milk for dessert.
Watched Patriots Day and OMG what a great f'in movie. Very intense. Highly recommend if you haven't seen it.
Monday was off work b/c I was planning to go ski but got lazy and figured since I went skiing the day before, f it. Hung a coat rack on the wall, replaced the faucet in the kitchen sink, did some laundry, gassed up the car and crashed for the entire day. I cooked potato soup in the crock pot for din din. Chickof came over, played part II of hiding the PEN15
Would do again.

Went to Sassafras for dinner Friday night. It was delicious per usual. Bed.
Saturday up early and to the gym then off to watch Lady of ST's basketball team beat some team of scrubs. There's nothing like watching middle school girls church basketball. I usually try to pick an over/under number for jump balls but then lose count somewhere in the 20s. Disclaimer: Lady of ST is the coach not a player in middle school girls church basketball.
Then we were off to Asheville to look at wedding rings and drink beer. Rings are expensive. My wallet is sad. I cheered up though when we went to One World, Ben's Tune Up, Hi-Wire, and Burial. Excellent evening.
Sunday up early and to the Biltmore house by 9am. Walked around the house for a bit because free to us. Back in Greenville by noon for Tommy's Ham House 2+2+2. Those sweet potato pancakes are the truth. Napped the rest of the day.
