I fully expect Louisville to bring their toughest game to date. However, the Clemson offense has been playing vanilla and blowing the score wide open. Regardless of the style of defense Louisville plays tonight, I do not see Watson's performance slumping any. Keep in mind, he only played half of the time in both of those games. Louisville has a tough defense for sure, but Clemson has yet to really open the playbook. On the other hand, Clemson's defense shows no signs of drop off from last season. Sure, there are a few less sacks, but plenty of tackles for loss and the two opponents we did play each got less than (5) 1st Downs. Louisville has issues on offense right now with no definitive QB and WR out of the game. They're going to have to rely heavily on a ground attack tonight and Clemson doesn't allow teams to run the ball well.
