I usually don't ask for prayer on Tnet, but at this point, I need some relief. I suffer from severe anxiety--under a doctor's care for years. I had COVID, and in a way, this is worse. Everything seems to be going wrong the last few weeks. The anxiety is almost too much.
Thank you to those who might consider saying a prayer. It is VERY much appreciated.

No decent remedy suggestion from me but I do realize it's tug (anxiety) on one's mind & body 24/7..so stay aware of what's happening and battle it tooth & nail.
And yep, the China Virus (weak version or not) isn't helping matters either so hang on Buddy!!

Will definitely do it. Have you seen your Dr.? I am on a few different meds to help. Some unfortunate life events brought on mine. Still deal with it but I credit the Good Lord for sending me to some people that could make it manageable.
It’s definitely never easy or going to be easy on this side of eternity.

“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus” (Philippians 6-7, NKJV).
When those feelings of insecurity come, pray “Help me Jesus”! You may need to do this many times, but it works.
Listen to contemporary Christian music. Always a positive message.

I went through severe anxiety in 1993-97 when it was not really "on the radar" in many areas. IT WAS ONE OF THE HARDEST THINGS I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED IN MY LIFE!!!! Praise God I am so much better!!! Please know you will be in my thoughts and prayers!!!!!!!!

Take a few days off work. Disconnect from your phone and computer. Find activities like sewing, book reading, cooking, etc. that doesn't involve the "internet". Even let go of "Clemson news" for a while and focus on yourself.

Ever be embarrassed about asking for prayers even on Tigernet and even about mental health. Mental health issues is going to be a problem for many in the future. It’s real and it’s just as if you had cancer or some other illness.
I suffer from anxiety attacks so I will definitely be praying for you. And I pray that Covid will not be to bad for you.
May God hear all of the prayers for you and that your anxiety will get much better.

Done.......I know it is a difficult path, as I am trying to help close friend of my Grandson deal with the same. Few understand the mental and emotional distress other than those who suffer, but I have seen great progress following his professional and personal help. The main idea I have tried to impart is that he has others in his corner, and that many people face daily the same issues of life that he does. He has begun to understand that, realizing that what he deems to be disastrous are actually typical issues most people face in life. Fortunately, for him, and hopefully you, there is daylight at the end of the tunnel...a light you have to search for constantly.
Very best wishes to you, and remember to share your problems with others, especially the older among us who have dealt with life's stumbling blocks for many years.

Brother - no matter what comes at us (in our mind or otherwise) keep our eyes on Christ and His promises. He will never leave or forsake you.
