It really doesn't matter. Until we got our special teams issues fixed we will never move to elite status. We have to fix this problem.

Cornell Powell returned 8 kicks for touchdowns this year.

K'Von Wallace has great quickness and speed. Ultimately, it's the guys who catch it and fearlessly get up field instead of trying to dance or go sideways.

That guy is a stud and will see the field as a true freshman.. Cracking the WR rotation will be tough so he will see the field somehow. I expect he will be returning kicks.

As long as Watson is there I think Dabo will stay content with securing possession

And not worry with risking a fumble or mistake that could take the ball out of Watsons hands. Once we have an unreliable QB then Dabo will start looking for yards on kickoff and punt returns.

I don't see why we wouldn't return kick offs at the start of this season.... We have multiple athletes with the skill to do so.... Remember a guy named CJ Spiller???? Imagine if we had that return factor mixed in with what we already have. Now punts.... I would fair catch all of those. I am just talking kickoff returns.

I don't know if it matters as much as the change in philosophy. We are not aggressive on returns..I have watched every game over the last 10 years..and this is the most passive return units. They don't seem to look to spring the returner. And tacklers look scared.. afraid of contact.. losing leverage..yikes.. Was it me or did we fair catch 97% of our punts?
