Somebody asked him how he got that name and he said it's because he used to throw the javelin in college. Maybe someday I'll read the novel it all came from and see if it's touched on there.

But the third is absolutely correct. They could’ve let Burns die in a mine field while we watched his body explode. And we would’ve gladly accepted his replacement.

That was as hard on my childhood as reading about Old Yeller getting shot. Then to top it off I had to learn about Santa Claus. No wonder I'm a mentally scarred sociopath now.

that she wrote a letter (regular old letter) to the tv people complaining about Henry not being on the show anymore AND dying
they wrote a nice letter back indicating that is what happens in wars and included a nice signed picture of the cast
you tell them Mom, love and miss you
