i'm surprised Norvell went after DJ, i realize they went after a few other guys that went to miami and oregon, but they did so well with a mobile qb, now they are rolling with a statue, makes no sense

As a Clemson Alum, what really ticked me off with DJ was when he said " he really wanted to go to Florida State out of high school anyway instead of Clemson when he signed on with them this year ". Well, why didn't he go there ? It would have been better for us .

DJ has done that more than once. Remember last year he said the Clemson offense was holding him back. When he's done with college he'll have no place to call home.

I called BS on that, when DJ was a senior in high school. FSU was a pile of hot garbage. He’s brought them back to it, so I guess it is a good fit.

Actually Bret, I prefer the conference be decided between FSU and Clemson because of the recent history of the rivalry. The portal is not what the media makes it out to be

Wasn’t very many months ago it was reiterated on here about how FSU had passed us by. Well maybe they have but it’s not by very much imo.
If Norvell really wanted to build a team with recruits and splash in a couple of portal players, that plan has now dissipated. He will not be given the time that, that would take. All his chips have to now be thrown into the portal and hope he gets a quick fix, and I’m talking by next season if he is given that long.

Really depends on when the first win is. If they start winning, don't lose any more( except for us), he's got next season. If they don't win their next game,buh-bye

There are a lot of FSU fans that I'm laughing at because they thought DJU was going to win them a championship. Then there are a few like you, my friend Bob M. and his family, and a couple others that I feel bad for. You all are great fans of your school. Appreciate your posts here and sorry that the Clemson-FSU game is likely not going to have as much meaning this year as usual.
