Who are taking the academic part of college seriously? I know Dabo & Co. are doing great with their guys and I have no reason to believe our other coaches are doing the same with theirs. However, we’re a small school and a huge majority of programs are littered with corrupt boosters and a lack of accountability.
I figure it’s much less than 50% of what it was 10 years ago.

With NIL and the transfer portal, how important is the academics part of it?

When a student-athlete is considering a college to transfer to, is academics as much of a factor as athletics? Does the new college have their major or something similar? Will their credits transfer? Is the new school as renowned as the old one? Does any of that matter?

Certainly not many of the ones that are going to 3 or 4 schools. I doubt anyone even checks anymore.

I learned as a child in the 60's and we taught our children in the 80's that it doesn't matter what anyone else does. Academics at Clemson matter and rightly so.
