We have had some special tight ends at Clemson over the last 7 or 8 years. I would love to get Oscar on board to help start another championship run. The tight ends have been critical in our last 2 national championship wins.

Have we? Who's now a household name. Leggett had a couple great catches but pretty much a bust in the NFL. I'd say if anything the lack of development and production from the TE has hurt us in recruiting elite talent there. The only thing I remember from Galloway is the fake doping scandal.
He just gave you a great insight into what the other recruiters out there are saying about our offense... And I hate to say they're right. We had Trevor and gave him zero that are going to the bigs. Same problem we have with OL.

I will say this and leave it alone. Dabo didn't move Tony E to the TEs bc he needed a spot for CJ to coach. Tony E moved himself to the TEs bc he wanted more out of his TEs, and Danny Pearman wasn't getting the job done with the talent that we've had with TEs....

Dabo and Company may have vetted his background, and that very well may have been an isolated incident, but the TOTAL lack of sportmanship and disregard for another competitor's safety as well as the possibility of jeopardizing another players future in the sport is enough for me to not agree that he is a fit for Clemson's culture. IF he felt he needed to stand up for his teammate, then stand up for your teammate, but going for another player's knee is a gross lack of emotional control and is symptomatic of something deeper...
Delp's criticism should be no different from the criticism given to Ndamukong Suh, DJ Swearinger or Chase Young...

to South Carolina . The granddad and uncle went to Clemson(uncle was streeters roommate/former player). Grandparents live not far from Columbia.

This is why South Carolina fans think he will come to Columbia because Mom and Grandma went there. I see him going to Florida maybe here if the relationship between him and Cade is for real. I know Hayden Hurst was a beast at SC but he never won anything. So.. its up to the young man. He would be a great get but we shall see.

He would be an idiot. When is the last decent TE that came out of SC? Also who’s throwing him the ball. Right now they don’t have a decent throwing QB and they don’t have one coming in. He may start but won’t be in the best situation as they’ll have to run the QB and RB a lot. Not to mention they won’t break 6 wins often. IDK can’t fix stupid if he chooses the coots.

Didn't one or both his parents go to S Carolina? Seems like a tight race he points out something good for each school. In SC's case it is fans showing him a lot of love and early playing time.
