Tonight. I hope while I’m decked out in my Clemson gear that I don’t distract him too much. I am certain he will be traumatized and have flashbacks of all the chicken kickings. I paid really good money for these seats, he better perform like a professional so I can enjoy the concert. He’s the only coot I’ll tolerate due to his fantastic music, but that ends tonight if he doesn’t put on an excellent show.

Went to a Darius Rucker concert on Daniel Island a few years ago that was a fund raiser for Charleston County Schools. Lots of parents and kids there. After about the fourth song someone yelled Go Tigers. Rucker launched into the worst profanity diatribe I had ever heard at a public event. F bombs and GD this and that. Absolutely the worst display ever. He is truly vile at times. Good music but a nasty man when he wants to be

I've been to many of his Charleston concerts and don't recall any sort of response like this out of him. I'd be surprised if your recollection is accurate. There is inevitably a Clemson hat or shirt that gets called out, but he takes it in stride.

Yes, I know he’s a dirtpecker and talks a little trash about Clemson but I always thought it more on the “fun” side of things rather than a ton of cuss words.
