Perfect grade for the Defense, pretty generous grades for offense and special teams, IMO.

BC's offense looked really bad, but as we give credit for them looking so bad to our defense, lets do the same for their defense bc a good D can make good offenses look bad even when they're not that bad!!!

I think it's spot on. BC has a great defense. Also, it was TL's first night road game and he made some great throws. Had we just punched one of those 1st and 10 from the 11 or 12 of BC into the end zone, we score in the 30's and grade would be like a B or B+ easily. Still think on a windy night ETN needs more carries, but they were daring TL to beat em - and he did.

I wish on 3rd & short we would put #44 at fullback and line up with 2 tight ends and drive somebody off the ball. When we try to get a short yardage first down in that one back set against a defense with a pulse we are not very efficient. That being said, being 10 & 0 aint bad.

I agree 100% about the 3rd and short situations. In certain situations, we need to play good ol’ smash mouth football! We have the hosses to do it. Give some of our “finesse” players a break every once in a while.

I wanted 1/2 of the D-Line in, substituting for the Right side of our O-Line, to give Trevor time to find the open man...

Play calliing had a lot to do with the low score

Uhhhhhhh....The screen game....why, why, why? We have so much more in the playbook. BC was jumping on and blowing up plays before the ball left Trevor's hand. We knew the right side of the line was getting destroyed, they were crashing the screens, the deep ball was kinda hit and miss, the running game was kinda iffy. So why are we playing right into the hands? The solution...quick slants and some wheel routes. We have Renfrow who does great work in the slot and has a tendency to clear out the safety if he turns his route upfield. Ross, Higgins, Rogers, kendrick runninng slants 5-7 yard out with the inside edge. Those receivers all do a good job of using their body to shield the defender from the ball and all have good hands. Most of the time Trevor does a great job of putting the ball where only his guy can catch it. It's a strength we are not using.
I think some of our lack of productivity in the middle of the field is having little threat from the TE. We have not filled the void of Jordan Leggett. I think Galloway will be that guy but is still very raw.
All in all, i'm ecstatic. We're 10-0 and I'm sitting here critisizing a 20 pt win over a solid #17 team, in their house, near freezing temp, at night and their offense did not score a single point. Man, We're spoiled.

Gotta differ with the TNET staff and others on TNET opinions. O did really well against a good D. Admit it. Over 400 yds. We dominated a good team and won on the road. I love it and so should you.

2 things stick out to me. First, the offense had 295 yards passing and that includes -12 on the blocked pass that TL unfortunately caught. Not a shabby total against a good defense. Secondly, ETN only had 11 carries and averaged 7.1 yards per carry. At least on the RPOs where TL handed the ball off to ETN, it appears they were correct. I still think there's more the Offensive Coordinators can do to open the Tiger Offense. I think last night was the first time, I saw the hitch and go to Amari. Maybe one day, I'll see a pump and go on a fake bubble screen.
