I'm glad other people have noticed this. I've noticed it all year. His knee injury must have really affected him, because he looks extremely slow and not elusive at all. Very easy to tackle. He wasn't the fastest back in 2014, but he looks like a shell of himself now.
25 carries for 78 yards. 3.1 yards a carry, the lowest of all the backs. Interesting enough, Feaster has 16 carries for 139 yards. A 8.7 yard per carry average.

he isn't that great at pass protection.
I love Adam Choice but I'm not thinking he should be #2...I like Dye better except for his fumbling problem.

So would I!!! We all know that it takes a RB about a quarter to find their grove on how the D line is playing. But once the good ones find that groove their almost unstoppable when their sweat starts dripping!!!

How do you know he's tentative?

He only has 16 carries on the season and 12 came against SC State (and he's averaging over 8 YPC).
Are you judging it off of his kick returns? There are plenty of fantastic running backs who aren't good kick returners.

I remember vividly that the entire tnet, two years ago, (as a true freshman) wanted more of AC. Then, while lining up in the wildcat formation, took the handoff and proceeded to tear his ACL....
Could be he's never been the same since........
