Plastic Cups from games...

Saw a post about memorabilia and was wondering what is the oldest plastic cups you have from the game.
I'm not even sure what the oldest one I have, but did see one for "Let Roar in '94."
I think there is even an older one from an ACC Basketball Tourney, but will ave to see what year it was.
I wonder when they started with the plastic cups? Anyone have any idea?

lol nope... it's a tourney cup with all the teams on it... lol lol
I believe it has seven teams (I think...), don't think the chickens are on there... and I know GT isn't so was prior to them joining in late 70s/early 80s.

being full of those things.
We would walk the stairs and pick up the ones folks left in the stands.
All four years, we never had to buy a sleeve of dixie cups, for those refined "barrel in a trash can" parties.

When I was a kid, they use to make cups specific to the game before the generic season long cups.

the 70's-80's cups still hold strong

most well-made plastic cups ever. Those thick, stubby, fluted cups were solid. Maybe a coincidence, but when Hardee's quit sponsoring/closed, the stadium cup quality went WAY, WAY down.
Also have a complete set of National Champs cups that the Canteen sold. They are priceless. Set of 6 - One for each big game (UGA, Wake, UNC, MD, SCAR, Nebraska). here's the NC one:
