Yes the news on PJ is true about the patella injury. The school is going to release something today about it with an actual timeline, but I am hearing that the earliest he could begin shooting is maybe late September or even October. Maybe November to play. But there will certainly be a lot of rehab involved. Not exactly great news about the start of the season

frustrating for him, especially since he battled the foot injury most of last year. Also, it really sucks for Clemson basketball. Losing your best player is never good for a struggling program. Clemson basketball desperately needs a shot in the arm, and now this.

Let's hope Middlebrooks has made some strides during the offseason and blossoms overseas and early season. Gonna need Schieffelin to step up also. They both did well during our closing stretch last season despite not putting in many minutes prior.
GG Jackson still hasn't committed anywhere yet. Wondering if we could make a late push here and keep him in the ACC?

Speedy recovery PJ. At least they're not talking season ending injury... And sounds good for conference play. As wildblulou said, middlebrooks will need to start the season and with chief, as well as Tyson, it may work out better. Good experience for both.
PJ will come back better than ever. Thanks for the correct information @dhood.

And how in the heck did this injury to PJ Hall occur? That needs to be disclosed publicly, as well.
When you cannot keep your best player away from injury risks, the entire program is very vulnerable. Who are the trainers for MBB @Clemson? Did the injury happen with activity sanctioned by them for an athlete coming off of a major injury the past year?

Yes. It is. I have first hand knowledge…and 30 years experience in sports rehab.
Even the football rehab program is lacking, IMO.
