I am just like everyone else and was disappointed in our play this weekend and agree bad pitching, bad defense and lack of hitting were in full display. I have read a few angry posts blaming Coach Bakich and the pitchers and just don't totally buy that. So called fans think good pitchers grow on trees and we should be able to stockpile pitchers. Bull. In the games so far today there have been 11 games with double figure scores. If it is easy to find pitchers, would teams have scored 10,10,11,11,11,11,12,15,16,17 and 17 runs? Recruiting is hard and recruiting top notch pitchers is even harder. To win 45 games is a great accomplishment and get to the Super Regionals and Series, you have to have complete teams there are not many of those teams out there.

Could anything be the fault of someone wearing orange? Just stop, expect excellence and you will be more likely to get it. We should have worn paper uniforms bc that’s what we were
