Most folks get their start in a local market. However, what makes Finebaum different from most is that his career ascention is totally in step with the perceived ascention of the SEC.

Max asked why we haven’t talked about Clemson as much which Paul basically said because of the schedule and that we almost lost to cuse and A&M. He failed to mention that our team wasn’t focused the whole week during the cuse game because of their leader transferring. He failed to mention that a RS freshman QB drove 90+ yards to win that game. He also failed to mention that the A&M game was only the second game of the year and played in a hostile environment. He doesn’t think we’ve been tested yet but I guess he has somewhat of a point with only 2 ACC schools being ranked.

even an ACC game for that matter. His sole focus is the SEC since he works on the SEC network. I seldom respect anything he says partly because I can't hear him since his head is stuck so far up Nick Saban's asz.
