Good morning everyone how was your weekend?

Friday, beer share at Shoeless, invited some friends that hadn't been before. Wrapped up about 9, got some pizza then went to some other friends' house for a fire.
Saturday, it was time to get a new phone, the battery in the old one was doing something strange where it would drain from 40% to 0 in seconds. I was in the store less than half an hour, my bill only went up $4.00. Getting a new phone is way different than it used to be. No calling to activate and all that mess. I just had both phones on the wi-fi and stuff transferred over. Watched the baseball boys get to the bad side of the bracket.
Sunday, did some yard work. We've had plants since April that for one reason or another had never been planted. We still have a ton of work to do to make the yard look nice. I either have way too much or not enough yard. Did not watch the baseball boys have all of their weaknesses show up at in the same game again. Certainly disappointed with the outcome but won't be dwelling on it.

Friday - grabbed some awesome steaks from the butcher and grilled them up. They were amazing. Nothing else, just hung out with the wife and kids. Watched lots of baseball.
Saturday - awesome run, but got rained on a bit, but it was kind of war, so it was ok. Coached sons little league game, chilly due to the wind and we lost by 1 run, but was still fun. Mowed grass. Babysitter came over and the wife and I went to dinner and then had drinks around town.
Sunday - another good run, church, took son to flag football. Played 9 holes at a super awesome course. Got pretty pretty drunk on the course. Played good for me. Good Messican dinner and then got home to help get kids to bed and then I CRASHED.
9/10 - 1 point deduction for the wind at the baseball game, it was awful and made it super cold.

Been at Sugar Mtn since Wed pm. Weather sucked Fri/Sat (driving rain, 50 mph winds)so we binge watched TV. Couldn't see the games since the ACCN isn't on Spectrum here.
Went over to 10-uh-cee on Sunday. Stopped at Roan Mtn, drove 10 mi to Carvers Gap to find out the summit was closed.
3/10 (5.7/19 on the RH Covids scale) with major deductions for beisbol, weather and Roan Mtn State Park.

Friday when to watch the Spartanburgers v the Winston Salem Dash whilst tracking the Tigers on my phone. The game was good 12-2 Burgers with lots of good play, had very good seats.
Protip, if you go, get seats in the red section. They are mesh and very comfortable. The sun is behind you.
Saturday cut grass and went back to Fifth 3rd Park to watch a pitchers duel that ended the 8th inning 0-0. Unfortunately the Dash scored 4 in the top of the 9th and all th Burgers could muster was a solo home run. Did not sit in the good seats so fought the hazy sun all afternoon and the hard plastic seats were not good for my old hips and back. Also we were kind of behind the pole that holds the net up so couldn’t see part of the scoreboard Went to the Messican place across from the ballpark for some meh food and watched the couch burners hose the Tigers. Good grief I hate those hillbillys.
Sunday usual with mom. Watched KY go at us with salt in the lube. More yard work.

I spent most of the weekend responding to DM’s from hotties in Twitter. I swear, I think someone put my user name on the bathroom wall of Lululemon or something because I’ve got a handful of them contacting me out of nowhere.

Pabst family chilled. Lots of whole food cooking, stretching /gym time for Mrs Pabst and I. Trying to keep her active while these cancer treatments try and tear her down.
Positive note, her bloodwork looked great two weeks into this cycle, so very hopeful.
Overall very relaxing weekend

was a great weekend to be on the beach, but it was crowded. They went 2-2, finished 3rd in their age group. Sand soccer is alot different and new to most of the boys but they had fun and got better.
I'd do it again, but sitting on the beach with all those people and having to watch soccer matches instead of chilling out kinda kills the beach vibes we enjoy.

the kind where the entire team has a pregame meal consisting of all-you-can-eat Taco Bell, takes 3 laxatives each, puts on their PJs, climbs in the bed, puts on a sleeping mask, switches on the white noise machine, and promptly SPRAYS LIQUID #### ALL IN THE BED, ON THE WALLS, AT THE CEILING FAN, ALL OVER THE SLEEPING DOG ON THE FLOOR, AND THEN PROCEED TO GET PRISON RAPED BY A BUNCH OF DUDES FROM KENTUCKY.

We just let the weekend dictate itself. Sometimes it’s good not to have a plan and float where the current takes you. Ran into some old friends we hadn’t seen in a while and had some drinks. 2/5 of the gkids spent the night with us on Friday. Wasted some time was crappy baseball. Ran some twine thought the tomato plants. Cleaned out a closet we had been ignoring. Just stuff.

Wife had a hospital shift this weekend so it was a Daddy/Munchkin kind of weekend.
Saturday we started with the last game of the tee-ball season. We played the team where the coach and like 50% of the team never shows. Last time we played them it was just one girl who made it, so she joined our team. We adopted them this week as well with only three of them. Worked out great because we could start playing earlier, which gave us two full innings with batting through the order twice each time. And with only three of them I learned the other kids' names pretty quick, which was nice because I did their trophies during the ceremony and got to call them up by name like they damn well deserved. I'm not gonna throw too much shade at the other coach because he may have been like me -- volunteered to be assistant without the intent of being head...but come on dude. It's two months. Make the effort. After that we went home to rest up, then got into the yard. Munchkin is finally at the age where he's largely independent, and I can get yard work done while he plays, or at least hangs out with me (he's my weed puller while I mow). So this year has already been the most work we've been able to do in the yard in five years, and we're loving it. Wife got home and we made a trip to IKEA. We're converting our dining room into a play room, so we can free up our living room again. Highly successful trip that didn't even come close to ending in divorce. Found a great solution re: floating shelves, which was a big win because we are struggling with how to address the HESS truck collection. Finished off the night with a solid Mexican dinner of Texano meat trio over rice with queso poured-over. Three of my favorites, combined.
Sunday we hit up a 10:15AM showing of Lilo & Stitch, which was better than I expected, and I quite enjoyed it. Billy Magnussen cracked me up more than Zach Galifianakis, which was a delightful surprise. Followed that up with a trip to Lowe's to purchase some touch-up paint supplies. I finally bought a mixer for a drill, and hfs is that thing awesome. No idea why I've gone so much of my life trying to mix with a wooden stick like a Medieval peasant. Paint was near 8 years old, and still matched perfectly. Munchkin was in a mood though, so we skipped on the Lowe's hotdog guy. Took it sleazy after getting back home, and wife got off earlier than expected. So we got to the Y for a swim session, and after that, came home with the wife assembling a shelf for the new shed, and me doing touch-up paint. In true form, however, I only eyeballed the dimensions instead of measuring, so it's going to require the angle-grinder to knock off the top of the metal poles in order to get it into the shed.
EX-WIFE DRAMA: On Saturday night I get a text from my buddy's wife, who they're currently in the middle of a divorce, with an odd message and a video from TikTok. I haven't spoken to her in many years, so it all seemed very strange and I thought it might be spam so I ignore it. Then Sunday while we're at the movies, my phone is blowing up with friends asking if I've watched it, and that I need to. Turns out it was a gay tiktokker roasting the ex for a legal filing (there is a celebrity angle in there that made it worthy of a gay tiktokker's time...but I'll leave it at that). There was a reference to an affair and being ("married at the time"), so I got an indirect shout-out. Just another reminder of how the implosion of that relationship was hard to handle at the time, but the best thing for my life. I'm living the high life with a great family and smokin-hot' (YEWWWWW!) new wife, and the ex is being dragged by internet Queens.

I will be to hitting you up soon.
Mine starts in the 80s. Always thought that when I had my own place I'd either display them, or sell them. Well I never displayed them, and I watched my uncle struggle to even piecemeal them out (who has time for that). So we turned them into potty-training incentives. They made for excellent poop prizes and got him dumping like a champ. Now it's awesome watching him pull out the entire set and playing with trucks that are decades older than him that I played with at his age.

Friday: got my homework done so I could do nothing on Satday, watched beisbol
Satday: watched beisbol all day, went to Columbo's for dinner for like the 6th weekend in a row
Sunday: started watching the beisbol, it quickly turned into a tee ball game with balls being thrown around stupidly, said forget this and went outside and cut grass, by the time I finished we were down a touchdown, 2 point conversion, and a field goal
Honestly wasn't surprised with the loss yesterday, I had a better chance of growing 6 inches than the beisbol team did of winning 3 games with no pitching.
8.5/10 because beisbol

Thursday, rode up to Gastonia to see The Prince Experience. It was a free show in Rotary Park downtown and the band was excellent, The guy that does Prince is crazy-talented...sings, plays bass, guitar, keyboards, and drums. I told Mrs. when I found the show that it must be good because you can't possibly get gigs as a Prince tribute band if you suck. It was definitely worth standing in a light rain for three hours to hear.
Friday, as much yard work as I could squeeze in between bouts of rain. The highlight of the day was probably Mrs. making her famous spicy Spam rice & beans for supper. It's freaking delicious.
Saturday, grocery and errands, more yard work in the afternoon, made homemade pizzas for supper.
Sunday, mowed grass until time to clean up and head to the Thirsty Beaver. Phenomenal show from Hannah Jaunita and I'm pretty sure she'll break big and be a household name at some point. And like a two-for-one deal...her guitarist (and producer of her last two albums) was Mose Wilson, who is an absolute BEAST on guitar and did a handful of his own songs as well. His album is coming out in July so do yourself a favor and look him up on your favorite streaming platform because he's incredible.
19/19 Covids because like I said...live music makes up for a LOT, including embarrassing backyard roller bat-level baseball.

Friday...met wife and daughter-of at the supreme seafood rest of the upstate...Red Lobster. Wasn't half bad, but ready for some real seafood at the beach this summer. Watched the baseball game.
Saturday...made some breakfast for the fam. Took son-of to pick up his gf to come over to our house. Daughter-of hit the neighborhood pool with a friend. Pool has been redone and is very nice...with food and drink service to boot! Did some stuff around the house and worked on PT for ankle whose recovery is not going as fast as I thought it would. Took fam and son's gf to Mellow Mushroom in Clemson for dinner (still no MauldinT) watched the first few innings of the baseball game there. Watched the rest when we got home...crappy ending.
Sunday...made breakfast for fam. Skipped church. Wife and kids went to the pool while I did some work work and watched our baseball game which looked like we fielded the Bad News Bears. Made a great chicken Caesar salad for dinner.
Decent family weekend...bad baseball weekend.

Friday - daughter had rehearsal so local pub for Golden Tee. Shot 18 and 19 under while missing multiple opportunities for better
Next up: Umphrey's McGee is downtown Orlando. Had been a while since id been down there on a Friday night. Yuk. Umphrey's was excellent. Closed 2nd set with Time by Pink Floyd, then Can't You Hear Me Knocking for an encore. Only 700-800 in the crowd surprisingly. People have clearly moved on from them. Went to after party that was wild. Missed the only winning of the weekend
Saturday - daughter's dance recital that was almost 3 hours long. Just shoot me. Got hot wings and sat down to watch our bullpen implode. Meanwhile, on TV2, City is being blasted 3-1 by an inferior Chicago Fire side w/our terrific goal keeper letting easy saves go right through his hands
Sunday - worked and watched 7, yes, 7 errors! C'mon man.
To heck with it, im getting on a boat tomorrow and heading to the Caribbean for a week. That has to be better, right
