I would think it was due to their .742 overall win record, versus our .710, and the fact they have won their last six games, versus our one...maybe?

It may not be a conscious bias, but the act of automatically putting Duke ahead of Clemson when the conference records are identical is a long-standing knee jerk reaction.
I mean … it’s Duke, after all.
Researching the facts is too much trouble for them.

I’m more interested in where we finish and if we will get invited to the main event. We got the double bye so regardless of how they have it listed we have that going for us.
