mostly just seeing them together again but, for some reason, it sure seemed to upset some Beatles fans.
I was pretty young when the Beatles where at the peak of their popularity (I was only about 1 year old when they made their first appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show), but my older brother was a HUGE fan and constantly played their music around the house. Some of his fandom rubbed off on me, but I've always preferred their earlier music. My grandmother would always ask me to sing Yellow Submarine for her.

It was nice to see them together once again. I was just a young kid when they came to the US, but do remember watching the Ed Sullivan appearance with my grandfather.

they would have done it while they were together and all alive.
The "lost" songs were unfinished for a reason.
I found all three, Now and Then, Free as a Bird and Real Love, just to be OK. They all are a bit bland, IMO.

disbanded. If anything, these were written around the time of "Double Fantasy". Obviously they couldn't have been written very long AFTER that, due to Lennon being assassinated outside the Dakota by Mark David Chapman.
What Chapman really robbed us of is the eventual Beatles reunion that I think would have happened at some point before George Harrison died. It may have just been a "one-off", but I like to think they would have recorded together again in some fashion. But, reality is, this is all we get.

I still clearly remember seeing them for the first time on the Sullivan show and feeling the ripples of change that followed.
When I first heard it I thought it was nice, but I was not too impressed. Later, my son and I watched the video and I realized that it might be intended as a look back to their time as a band. That resonated for me a little more.
As someone who is stuck in the music of my youth, it was a good effort.

I love everything Beatles and this was well done as well. Not their best, but I’m sure it was never intended to be. Actually, I was a little disappointed after all the miracles we’ve been told that AI can do.
My wife and I saw Paul McCartney in London in 2016 and it was the best live concert we have ever seen. We both were very prejudist, but whatever!

Never been a big fan of Paul as a person and questioned whether it was more to be mentioned and to make more money. However, as I watched the video it was more touching to see the hidden emotions it seemed to me that it captured. Found it touching and was good to see.
The lyrics fit the theme of the song

I saw Paul in Columbia in 1993 and again in 2015. The outdoor show in 93 was fantastic. He performed a 32-song playlist that included three encores. He even performed an old Bill Withers tune (Ain't No Sunshine). It was one of the best concerts I ever attended.
I saw Ringo perform at the Peace Center in Greenville in 2015. While I'm glad I got to see him (it was kind of a bucket list item for me), Ringo's performance wasn't nearly as good. Todd Rundgren was in Ringo's All Star Band so he did some of his solo stuff too. He also had Gregg Rolie from Journey and Steve Lukather and Warren Ham from Toto. There were a couple of others too but I can't remember who they were.

Never been a Beatles fan, however, there is no denying the impact that they had on the music scene.
This video was probably my favorite thing that I have ever seen from the Beatles so that kinda gives an idea of my view of their music.

This will be an unpopular take but I love most Beatles hits from the mid 60s through early 70s so I’m no hater.
That song has no great vocal performance, no memorable licks or instrumental part, no hook or chorus and lastly zero emotional energy. That’s a sad vehicle for an attempt at a ride down memory lane. Talk about going through the motions.

Agreed. I own lots of Beetles original vinyl. Just no. It doesn’t compare with ANYTHING on the red album.
……Oh, and as far as AI is concerned, there’s no suitable substitute for dropping the needle and sitting on the floor examining the album cover and liner notes.
