Ohio st. will most likely lose to penn state and get shocked by IU, however they get they much needed win against UM and save Day's job
Big 10 gets Penn state, Oregon and IU
UGA or Alabama. One of them is not gonna make. Got my money UGA sneaking in with 2 loses (L to texas) Alabama losing to Tenn amd LSU will be too much
SEC gets Texas, Tenn, LSU and A&M
ACC will prolly get 2 in Miami and Clemson. They will both have to run the table and lose a close acc championship.
Big 12 will only get in 1 team. Looking like Iowa State
I think Notre Dame beats both service Academies and gets in
Then non-power 5 Boise State.
Pre-season top 10s not getting in... no FSU, No Utah, no bama, no ohio state, no ole miss and there were 12 spots

I'm thinking the coots and mighty OU may miss out. I think too scared to man up and join a conference ND should miss. They also should have to play at Cowbell U Miss st every game till they do join a conference

Without reading other post, that is exactly the way that it should be, no conference affiliation, no playoffs or NCG, they should make one for private schools!!! Notre Dame wants to be paid from conference money, but they won't share any of their personal TV contract money, not a dime of it. That's totally out of line and unfair to conference schools that ND will be allowed to take and give nothing back!!!

Ohio State has the most talented roster in college football. OSU will beat Penn State badly.

barely won 32-31 with OSU having driven to the Oregon 28 yard line at the end of the game.
It was a great game between great teams, but I expect OSU is more talented and the better overall team and would win on a neutral field.

 Go Ducks!! The Ducks will be in good shape against who ever they play. Officials gave Ohio St 7 on a bad call, the Ducks kicking game is on target and that's 5 for the Ducks and 7 less for the nuts. Final 13 point spread with no need for a 12 man penalty. Ducks won the game simple and clear.

Notre Dame nor any other school who refuses to join a conference should be ruled out of the playoffs and the NCG, those games are mainly for conference schools, and no conference equals no admittance, Period!!!

That's another thing that's wrong, ND shouldn't have any bearings on what happens with a conference school bc they're not a member of any conference with their FB program, and folks should stop acting as if they are!!! They aren't under any ruling that conference schools are under, and they shouldn't have any rights to anything that involves a conference school, none!!!

Watched the game Sat. Night...LSU stinks up their own stadium...if you've been to Tiger stadium that's saying a lot! No playoff for LSU or the system is totally rigged! Awful football team and the corch looks like a deer in the headlights...probably too many freshmen on parole from Angola!

I believe that first game will not be a big deal to the POC. They are sophisticated enough that they understand teams peaking early like UGA and others peaking at the end of the season like Clemson.
Dabo wants the bye and a top 4 seed. He has not had the luxury of designing those close games as he did in years past. He is certainly trying to build depth and harden the troops but this season is an experiment designed to be very conservative in his approach to the first 12 team playoff.
Dabo has been forced to lay the wood since game one but I still believe Clemson will be a stunning team starting with the USCe game.

Have you not watched James Franklin coach in any meaningful games? Penn State will lose when it matters most. He is the worst big game coach in all of college football.

We have no clue how much of ESPiN's SEC hype the POC will respect. However, if Clemson loses to UM I believe we will not be included in the PO.
I also believe we will shock Miami with a true and epic beatdown.
