What if Oklahoma just isn't that good?

I give them credit for being the only Big 12 contender to play an OOC team with a pulse in Tennessee, but that was a game they should have lost. Additionally they got beat by Texas, who was annihilated by Notre Dame. All of that to say, how do we really know Oklahoma is good?

B-I-N-G-O!!! The media is believing their own hype. We are a much better team than they are giving us credit for being. I don't know why but I feel a great need to yell at the top of my lungs..."we are #1 , we are worthy of that ranking and yes, we belong!!!"

Feels like the North Carolina game, doesn't it? Will be curious to see what happens when it's time to pick a winner from the "experts"

You left out the part where the 3 best Big 12 teams that OU played actually played OU with their backup QB's.

Also unc was blowing teams out with the opponents starting qb playing and couldn't climb in the rankings. But Oklahoma was barely beating backups with the exception of okie st, and they flew up the rankings. Why did they get so much credit for beating 3 back up qbs and a loss to Texas. Guess I just don't understand the reasoning.

Probably the safest thing for Clemson to do is to just assume that OU just isn't that good.

It's definitely safe to say based on your teams immature comments that they don't think we're good.

of the game. That being said theBig 12 largely exists in a vacuum so it's hard to gauge the quality of its teams.

I second this opinion.

I am not sure why more people aren't talking about the fact that they clearly stumbled into the playoffs. (Riding high on victories to TCU's and Baylor's backup QBs. And beating a clearly overarrated OK State.) The Big12 is the new SEC. "They just beat up on each other" and the media assumes they are good.
OU barely beat a weak Tennessee team and lost to Texas. Maybe beating burnt orange has gone to their head. Clemson is better than any opponent they've faced all season. They shall soon realize that.
Go Tigers!

The largest difference between last yr and this yr is the QB

and with that said, the best QB is the one that was the Maxwell winner and in NY as a Heisman finalist. DW4 got his numbers against some of the best defenses in the country, while Hot-headed BM got his against some of the worst defenses in the country.
I actually do not believe OU can stay within 2 TD's of Clemson. All you have is talk and a very weak resume against sub-par competition.
