Heading to coach at college of Charleston. Seems like a lateral move but is going to be making twice the salary. Would have loved to see him come to Clemson if giving the opportunity. Sucks for Winthrop but hopefully they can strike gold a third time with next hire.

but you could argue the CAA is a better basketball conference than the Big South. Besides, he is probably ready for a change. He's deserving of a better job and if he takes CofC to the NCAAT I would think a better school offers him.
