3rd grade. Went down just fine but when I went in the pool at the bottom, it was so cold I couldn't move. My body just locked up. I couldn't even breath. My mom had to swim in and come get me.

I think the time I went when they opened was like May 1st or something like that. No clue how cold the water was, but it knocked me silly too. Had to be down in the 50's, if not colder. Coldest was when I fell out of a canoe into 36 degree water a couple hundred yards downstream from the Nantahala ###. That water from the bottom of the lake was 36 degrees. I had a wetsuit otherwise I'd be deaded.

Still too cold for me, I thought about going down the ladder to peepee on Sunday because of the amount of boat traffic, but I'd rather random boaters see my weiner than get wet and be cold.
