Were any of those teams ranked in the top 10 with all the hype on them??
Every time it is brought up in a defensive manner such as this, it makes it that much work.
Just drive on and accept the past as what it is, the past.
For a team and fan base with so much going for it, why so many people get upset with the talk of ########## is silly. The players couldn't care less, they are just winning, the fans are the wackos getting riled up over it

Cooterville where the "wackos" are all riled up by Clemson being ranked so high? All upset and carrying on about day after day on how weak Clemson is, etc. etc? LOL.

BUT the reason it gets so much attention is we allow this to get under our skin. I am guilty as charged. This era of football is over around Clemson. When Tommy left I really feel that those type of losses have grown further apart. We have a different culture around our program now and there is no room for players, coaches or FANS that buy into the "##########" factor any more. I really see and feel that we are a tough hard nosed team like the 80's. We play very physical and are not a soft spread team. I noticed when Sammy caught a pass across the middle he exploded into the defender, those are the little things that show up in the film room and are discussed as being a physical team.
