Yep, looks tasty!
My friend could help diagnose and treat what you get there, too.

So if any suggested restaurants give you food poisoning or worse, let me know and I'll give you his contact info.
Hopefully you find legitimate "A" grade eating establishments and you get to enjoy your trip.
Safe travels!

And I'll send you to the right place. All the chain restaurants are in the city.

My favorite when I lived there was Village Tavern. By far, it was my favorite.

If you're into craft beer at all Foothills Brewing is downtown off of 4th street. Great beer and good pub food.

I lived on Holly Ave, which would be 3rd street if there were a 3rd street, and that was a second home of mine for a long time.

Grew up in W-S, Village Tavern is definitely my favorite spot in town. They have two locations, the one in Reynolda Village has good outdoor seating if the weather is nice and a small but quaint setting. The Hanes Mall Blvd location is larger and can be more crowded but also has a cool atmosphere and larger bar area. Can't go wrong with either. If you are looking for something fancy then Nobles Grille on Knollwood is a great spot.

Finnegan's Wake on Trade St is one of my favorites, but there are a ton of places downtown and all within walking distance of each other.

Nobles, Village Tavern and Milners (on Stratford Road) are very good. My favorite is Ryans which is an unbelievable privately owned steak place that is near the coliseum but you will think you are in the wooded mountains if you eat there. It is better than Ruth Chris, Flemings, etc etc

Nawab off Stratford Road, Bonefish Statford road, Midtown Desserty on Stratford too, O'so off of Jonestown road and Graze downtown. If your here for breakfast Pete's in Clemmons is really a great clean place to go. It's always packed AM and PM, that's always comforting.

No one mentioned Ronnie's in Clemons. Not a fancy place but if you are into wings it's hard to beat. It's always packed at meal time so that tells you something. Another of my favorites in Winston is Elizabeth's Italian restaurant. Best pizza in town. imo
