skipped Wednesday entirely until this was ready. But he addressed the primary complaint of most of the doctors who have been complaining - lack of testing. He's been ineffective publicly up to now, but that was effective and I hope it works.

Of course, they were vague about when these fabulous zillions of tests are going to be ready, and of course he didn't take personal responsibility for the delay of testing (no politician would). But othrwise, one of his best efforts. Nice rebound from his last couple of horrific statements.

The problem is that doctors have to swear on their firstborn's life that you are one of the critical groups who need testing. I don't believe it's the kits, I believe it's the testing sites not being able to test all the samples which demands strict criteria for qualifying to be tested.

and half a doz other obstructions to testing. I reminded everyone that some test have always been
done at locations other than hospitals and doctors' offices. I had no idea regulations so limited who could get test and that those test would have to be performed at state health bureaus.
If message that should have been discussed more by Trump and his health staff that was it. Why they didn't explain that you can't just walk into a doctor's office and be tested without the doctor certifying that you desperately need the test is just plain wrong.
What I want to know is why no one foresaw this as being a problem during a pandemic. With all the doctors on the news being interview why not one single one of them knowing this was a problem and sharing it with the public is beyond me. I don't think those 'professionals,' have a freaking clue what's going on.
I swear, if you put the US gov in a room with an anvil they would #### it up or lose it. These idiot who run the health departments are fit to wash cars. This isn't their first rodeo. We had the H1N1 just 10 years ago and why they didn't fix the issue back then shows just how stupid previous administration were.
