O/U Conference Wins next year?

What does everyone think about the o/u for conference wins for the upcoming season? I think it could go like this:
HOME: GT: W Pitt: W BC: W FSU: W Louisville: 50/50 Miami: W NC State: 50/50 SMU: W VT: W
AWAY: GT: W Pitt: W Cal: W Duke: L UNC: 50/50 ND: W Stanford: W Syracuse: W Wake: 50/50
I honestly see 12-13 mostly comfortable wins, with really only one guaranteed loss and that's to Duke. I don't feel confident in Louisville and NC State, but we have them at home so I don't think it's going to be an automatic loss for us. UNC and Wake are also 50/50 for me, we suck on the road against both of those teams, and both of them had pretty good offseasons with incoming transfers. I'm sure we'll drop more games somewhere, probably against GT as they always have our number, but 11-7, 12-6, or 13-5 are not a bad outcomes for conference play this year. The ACC looks to be on the up, I just hope Brad and co. can stick with everyone and make a run again this year.

Things change so much from season to season now

I dont know much about most of the players on our own roster, much less our opponents. We probably lost 90% of our minutes played from last year and the 10% is basically Dillon Hunter.

That definitely makes it tougher, it's hard to gauge how good we might be compared to last year with none of the incoming transfers playing in a P4/5 conference. Player to player, I think we are 100% more athletic, with Ian being hurt, Lahkin being a bit slower in general (albeit the 2nd best player last year), and Wiggins being stiff as a board. Athleticism is what killed us last year in our losses, as nobody could create a shot for themselves besides Chase and Zackery when things were tough. The only teams to really make better moves than us were the teams I think we lose to (UNC, UL, NCSt, Duke, and Miami maybe). Even if you take out Miami and Syracuse (they also had a pretty good offseason) as wins, that still puts us at 11-13 conference wins.
A lot of wins come simply from other teams getting worse or not improving; Stanford and Duke haven't even signed a significant transfer yet (I think Duke got a benchwarmer in), although Duke is Duke, so I'm not expecting them to fall off. I think the minimum amount of wins they can pull out is 10-11, which I think with the ACC getting stronger is not a bad season. We'll see where we stack up after the two tournaments we play in this year conclude, those will be the litmus test for how the rest of the season might go.

no idea with so many new players on the roster. The only pt back from last year there is Dillon. Transfers, redshirts, and freshmen comprise the rest. Hopefully they will do well but it may take time to gell.

Yeah, totally agree. We'll have to get into December, play the sec challenge, the road tournaments etc to begin to get a feel for the opponents.
With transfers, and in bball, the one and done players... it's not even an educated guess. You have just as much success letting an animal pick.

I agree.
Have Louisville, and NC State only at home who will probably be in top 4 of conference. SMU might be upper third just at home also.
No UVa is good even though could have used that game at home since played them on the road last year. Don't know why they chose Pitt as the other partner for this season, but the Tigers should probably be a lot better than them.
Yes, I think 10-12 ACC wins is definetelly in reach looking at the roster and other ACC rosters early on.
If having trouble scheduling non conference games to fill those two games remaining what about a non conference game UVa on a neutral court in Greensboro or Charlotte? They will be much improved under Ryan Odom.

No idea. Don't know 80-90% of our team, much less anyone else's.

to answer the question fully, I'm going to say Over/Under as 11 wins. 7 loses and a max of 3 loses in the non conference should put is in the Dance as long as the ACC is a lot better at the top next season

It's really hard to at this point. I think we will be good based on what we have, but i have no clue who other teams in the ACC have coming in.
I think we are going to lose one of the road west coast games. That's a long trip and will be a challenge
We will beat UNC on the road! Brownell owns Hubert!
Miami will be a tough one at home. They have some nice pieces coming in.
Syracuse could be good. I really like nathan george as a PG.

Thanks for viewpoint, M'neer...
I think most rosters are already pretty much complete.
You can go to each team athletics' sites soon to evaluate each team's talent.
NC State did just pick up Lubin from UNC. That is going to be weird next season
I do like what Miami brought in but the unknown is what kind of HC Lucas will be early on, especially with all the new players.
