I can't stand a single word that comes out of Jim Phillips mouth. "Coming off another highly successful year"......did the ACC win a single national championship this year other than field hockey or some other irrelevant sport? What has Phillips ever done to actually improve this conference?

At least the softball tourney improved from rainy and cold Boston College further south to Virginia. That was a head scratcher this season holding it at that high school sized stadium in an area prone to late winter weather in the spring. Plus how does a school that only joined in 2005 host first over charter members?
The ACC is the dumbest conference in the country.

That tournament has to be in Clemson soon. We're one of the only ones not to host it yet. On top of that we have the best facility in the league. Watch them put it in California before SC.

Seems to me that every state with the former 14 ACC teams has a championship except SC and NY. Why can we not play the ACC championship for baseball at Fluor field?
