Agreed, staff has done a great job getting into the final 2 or 3 but we have to start closing on more of these 5-star recruits to take that next step

This is huge because we spend a lot of resources to recruit these kids and a 2nd or 3rd finish gets you nothing... Gurley, Marshall,etc. Obviously, there is always a CJ or Sammy that pays off, but you've got to allocate your resources wisely.... a team of HR hitters get a lot of strike outs. we need some singles and doubles.

you're never going to hit any HR's if you don't at least get-up to bat with them.
It's certainly a risk/reward endeavor but completely worth the risk.

honestly, i can see kendall joseph or one of those lesser rated guys meaning alot more to a team than some of the 5 * guys
may be some sour grapes, but seen enough 5 * busts to know one guy doesn't make / break anything
raekwon 40 time is like 4.87?
actually got outta shape, and dropped to a 4 * over the summer

Gaines Adams said High. I'll take someone who wants to be at Clemson and gives their 110% over some 5* that just wants to get out and make it big in the NFL. Look at Clowney this year. His potential was out of this world but he has played this year not to get hurt. I don't wish any hardship on McMillan, but just go kick OSU A$$ to show him where he should have wanted to go.

What do you want Dabo and co to do? Put a gun to this kid's head and make him sign on the dotted line? He chose to go to OSU, big freakn deal. Don't for a second think that this staff isn't putting time in to recruit these guys. Time away from his wife, kids, and his athletes. Unfortunately there are situations in life that you just can't blame on Dabo. A kid choosing the best fit for HIS life isn't one of them. Get over yourself and quit stalking these kids on social networks, freakn creepers.

The kid only chose OSU because if he plays as a freshman he will get the exposure. OSU will have another cake schedule and get the TV time and ranking that's way to high as this year. The only problem is that after the Orange Bowl OSU will be outside of the top 10 looking up at Clemson. Good luck kid!!! The easy road is not always the best road!!!
