Clemson through 9 games...
2015: 348 points, 4393 yards
2016: 347 points, 4,396 yards
That stat is truly remarkable because by many including myself, we don't look anywhere as good as we can be this season. Struggles against Auburn and Troy, 5 turnovers against Louisville, the near disaster against NC State, Watson's interception concerns. All of this and we're just as good as 2015 with Pitt, Wake, SCar, and probably VT left on the schedule.
Should be a reminder to be patient and not write off the offense as a disappointment too early, we could be peaking going into the ACC Championship/College Football Playoff. Also, judging by Saturday Alabama is human.

Points are more top loaded to a specific few games in 2016 - we haven't been near as consistent in game control as last year.

The team is rested compared to this time last season. Should prevent the late game letdowns by the defense that occurred at the end of last year.
