Well I’m not too concerned seeing there is a very good chance Clemson will not be a participant.

of every team so I think opt outs are highly unlikely. The NIT is likely another matter.

at Madison Square Garden a few years ago when Clemson was playing SMU. Unless Clemson is playing, I don't watch the NIT at all.

Anyone can go pro out of high school
I wouldn’t mind that in football.
I think that would weed out the kids that don’t really appreciate or want the opportunity to play college ball.

Nope. Disagree. Whether 3 years of them working at McDonald's or not. Still gives them a chance to go to college. NFL doesn't want that either. NFL encourages college but they are for a farm system.

What i said is essentially what you just said. EXCEPT you said it better.
As for the farm system. Yes, the NFL has been trying to for several years to set up a league independent of college. Not the NFL per se but have given private investors a wink and nod to create one. Several plans have been on the table.
As for what else I said, the NFL wants the smart athletes. Smart in that they can grasp concepts and playbooks etc. And yes,, I realize the NFL loves college football to weed out said 2%. No team owners are willing to take on a hs kid and train them.

If it happens it happens.
Most of the top players are one and done rentals anyway.
Actually bodes well for Clemson’s post tournament success in the future on those occasions we make it.
