The Little Things
The Little Things When you watch Clemson this season its easy to see the Heisman trophy candidate at quarterback and the All-American candidate at wide receiver but the little things are also helping this undefeated start.
Clemson does the little things well. For example: *The Tigers ha

Only 3 passing TDs on us so far this year is amazing

Especially when you consider that two of those came against SC ST. And the last one was a garbage time TD with our 3rd and 4th string players. Mike Reed and Venables are doing a very good job with the DBs and our DL is so dominate that the secondary isn't being as pressured as they were last year.

Dabo gave credit for the sacks at Syracuse to the secondary... they wanted to throw quick passes... no one was open... 1 pass at Syracuse was completed to a WR.... WOW.... that sacks were coverage sacks... by the time he got through his progression QB was in trouble...

The rankings, positive press, winning, undefeated is all wonderful-still much to prove though too. Other than Georgia we've not played a good offense. Striving for perfection, settling for greatness is a good way to go. It's all in front of you Tigers. Just do it!

CU 49 - Opponents 0, on points after turnovers. Huge stat!!

We've minimized our turnovers this year, and the ones we've committed haven't hurt us.
Meanwhile, we've made the other team pay dearly for turning the ball over.

The opponents have payed dearly for punting too... I expect GaTech to go for it on 4th down if it is less that 4 yds. If you cannot stop the other team form scoring you have to go for it on 4th and maybe ....
