One way Dabo could increase NIL money for players is to have a Saturday / Sunday

Open House where fans can meet the players while at the same time having merchandise for sale. Fans could buy merchandise and get the players to autograph a jersey, trading card, photos among other items. They could sale food as well. A percentage of the sales would be divided among the players. Dabo could have this event at least twice a year. This would give fans a chance to get to know lesser known players. At the same time it may increase NIL sales for all of the players.
It would also give fans a chance to meet coaches to.

Not interested. Got other things to do that more important than going to Clemson to meet players at a sit down dinner to be fleeced.

I appreciate the sarcasm but like it or not NIL is an important factor in recruiting, keeping players out of the portal and competing for CF Championships.
I was not aware of Top Golf event. And it’s not a sit down dinner. It would be like a festival type atmosphere where fans and players mingle. I know most of our kids would enjoy meeting players. And it food you could eat outside on a table or take it home.
Those who feel it’s a bad idea or you feel like you are being fleeced then don’t complain when we lose out on players because of NIL deals.
I warned that NIL had the chance to affect Clemson’s recruiting. Well it has like it or not. Many fans who dislike NIL now were all for it a fees ago. Teams like UGA, LSU, A&M among others will not hesitate to buy players through NIL.
If NIL was not so important why did Clemson hire someone to focus strictly on NIL opportunities for the players. Why are we spending approximately $55 million dollars on a facility focused on NIL opportunities for players.
It’s too late to put it back in the box. It’s lose and running wild. My post was intended to focus on lesser known players who are not benefiting from NIL.
Either way if you attend games and support Clemson you are being fleeced as you put it. It was just an idea since Clemson is struggling with NIL opportunities for most players.

That's a great idea,alot of kids look at players like some type of superhero...parents would Def be kicking out some cash...some adults as well would love that...

The NIL is going to be second to revenue sharing. Its coming just like in pro sports. I do not envy the task college and university administrators will have eventually. The current environment is not sustainable without more structure.

Pay 110% for your goodies with that extra 10% going to the NIL collective? Employ this opportunity at football and basketball games, with a "I gave 110%" or "I can touch the rock" stickers to go with donations.

Dear Old Clemson has stuff for sale but I find it lacks imagination. I'm sure some quality Clemson sports related art would bring big dollars.
