Either we are making them look good or they are good. I think their QB is a very good QB. They will win some games this year.

They’re a decent team, but we should be ahead by at least 2 touchdowns. Clemson has 3 times the talent that Duke does. No excuse for this.

Duke is a good football team. They have an excellent QB, a VERY experienced offensive line with 1 or 2 that will play on Sundays, a super-talented defensive line (2 NFL players there too), and a decent group of running backs. They lost 4 games last year, all within a touchdown (and 3 within a field goal). And they returned 85% of their players, the fourth most in college football. I'd say they're a top 25 team, maybe just inside the top 20.
The problem is, we're supposed to be competing for a championship this year. We have to beat FSU and Notre Dame as a starting point. Yet Duke has thoroughly whipped our butts on both side of the ball, and are only not up 3 scores because of freak mistakes.

the likes of Duke. Period. How do you think Duke would fare against FSU or LSU? Do you think Duke could go nose-to-nose with either of those? The two teams I saw last night would wear Duke out.

Yes, they won 9 games . Actually they were two very close loses to UNCheat and Pitt from being in the ACCC. Their defense is swarming, just like the Tigers. They had almost had everyone coming back. The Tigers will have to play a lot better on offense to pull away this game.

Duke is a nice little team. A top-five team would destroy them and be up by over three touchdowns easily.

They are clearly coached really well on defense. They look better than us honestly. Like the talking heads have said, Duke is flying to the ball. Every time an Clemson payer has the ball blue guys are all over them.

They're ok, not great. But, they have good defensive lineman, and with our typically suspect offensive line, they can short circuit the offense.
Plus, they have some solid guys in the secondary that transferred from P5 programs.
Basically they have some good players at positions where they can take advantage of our weaknesses.

Yes, well coached; really good Q-b. We’re far from a good on the field team, but the Blue Satans are playing OK enough to keep up with an out of sink (like a floppy fish) & somewhat uninspired O&P.
