One of the best decisions I ever made...

was giving up IPTAY. Was a member for 30 years, and with kids sports could only attend a few games/year. Endured horrible customer service, parking downgrades, and the absolute worst bowl seats.
Now I get tickets and parking for a few games a year. Better seats, parking and save thousands.

Wow, this sounds familiar! The parking was the straw for me.

based on what I can get for reselling tickets and a couple of parking passes. I think I ended up paying $1200 last year to see 6 home games (2 tix/game) and using my tailgate for 5 games. I am way ok with that value.

Yeah, I think this is my last year. Was really only hanging on to the seats because they are the ones my dad and I had together and it was a good memory of going to games with him but all the seats around me aren’t the same people even game to game and more often than not they are occupied by obnoxious bandwagon cootish fans in orange that have totally ruined it.
My only decision is whether to gouge someone on LSU tickets and parking to pay for the rest of the season or not. Right now I’m 50-50 between taking the money vs a great night game vs the heat, parking, drunk ########, traffic, etc.
I’m still pissed about when I got to my numbered spot for a game last year, there was a car in it with no hang tag, and when I finally found an attendant, she said there was nothing she could do and to just park in any empty spot.
My follow up email to IPTAY received a so sorry we’ll looking to reply.

Yeah I barely made it happen this year. Next year looks very doubtful.***

This goes back to prolly somewhere in the 90's, don't remember the year.
Got to our seats in UM, Row I. Good d@mn seats, but 4 semihole dweebs were in our seats, the tallest mebbe 5'10, the heaviest couldn't top out over 200 lbs. We were all 6'2 235lbs + (being generous by not accounting for daily beer weight)
I said you're in our seats. They said "So". I said "Move or you have 2 options. I call security or we move you. Call it". Now everybody around us knew those were my seats and backed us up.
They slinked away.
