One needs ID to use landfill but not to vote!

Does this make sense? Never has but Dems have used this as a race card against Republicans.
BUT, Even a non-white citizen needs to present a vehicle license or bill from the county with one’s address to be able to dump a sofa or whatever at a city land fill facility.
In the future maybe it will be a voting law that a voter, hopefully a legal citizen, uses his/her finger print which should clear up this political mess and prevent ballot fraud.
And, heard the cell phone might be used in the future to vote but that seems very vulnerable.

Voting is a right, ID is not free and universally accessible

I have no problem with the concept of requiring ID to vote, but then we need to ensure every citizen has the same and equal access to the services to get ID. Additionally review after review have shown no (or at least incredibly small) voter fraud it would prevent. So then the question becomes is it just a solution in search of a problem… or kore likely is it a suggested tool of a certain group of folks who wish to make voting harder. Asky yourself why this group is the same that wants to harder to register to vote.

Owning a gun is also a right, but you need ID and background checks.***

And a valid point (though there is a discussion about the difference between the right to bear arms vs the right to buy arms). But it doesn’t change my stance on voting ID laws. There is a valid discussion to be had over ID and weapon purchase, but it doesn’t change my stance on this.

If you don't have the interest enough to obtain an ID, you shouldn't get to vote***

Saying….all policy makers are/were so imperfect, as you & me are, so let’s not get so uppity & pious & worked up since it won’t change matters you don’t approve of since it’s like yelling against the wind.
