One for the TigerNet suggestion box

In addition to being a lifelong Tiger fan, I have been a Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan for 40+ years.
One thing they do on at least one of their message boards that I think would be interesting here is a a post game thread about the star performers and the goats (not GOATs), win or lose. Their studs get seats at the “Captain’s table”, and their duds “walk the plank”.
We could do something similar, with a “Tiger Kings/Back to the Circus” post.
Whaddya think? Good idea, or is it “back to the circus” for dsgriff68?

In fairness to Spiers, the (insert here___the refs?/VaT ball boy!?) packaged that football in dry ice before the punt. Have you ever kicked a hard ball? It hurts.

Never been to their board but seen other college boards and it's a great idea. Not sure how mods do it on those other boards but they control it in a way that the threads can't be hijacked by calling someone a coot/fan of another team, or a dem, or cluttered with stupid gifs and TD's etc.
Just good honest discussions on the ups and downs, whether coaches, players of the games and you end up with really good content from people that seem to know the game of football.
Tnet used to be that way but not so much nowadays.
Ex. We were extremely fortunate that VT qbs were hurt. They were driving to make it 24-17 and the scoop and score busted the game open, took their mo away and fortunately for us, VT had to come back with their 3rd string. Game was way closer than the score.
Good idea.

You gotta remember these are college kids versus pros. Maybe a seat at the captains table would be appropriate, but I don’t know about walking the plank.

Agree, I don't think its a good idea to call out the players by name. They are just kids and not professionals. When you get paid millions of dollars as a pro it comes with the territory. The reason I love college ball is because its passionate - the players, coaches and fans. Nothing would kill a players passion more than a bunch of keyboard warriors publicly calling them out for a less than stellar performance. They are still learning and perfecting the game at this point.
