just threw the umpires from yesterday’s game under the bus. It’s obvious to everyone how bad they were.

I've enjoyed this crew doing this game tonight. Insightful, not bragging on themselves and a little humor....not the overboard yucking that seems to be the 'rage' in announcing these days. LOL

Just looked for stuff on Clemson at every chance. A warnig to both benches after the tag eas all that was needed. They fanned the flames. Didnt see the hr bat toss but given recent events you have to be smart with a crew looking to job you

The bat went straight down from stomach level. He did not flip it or throw it. Bakich and Leggett were right to get pi55ed

Yeah, he just threw the bat on the ground from waist height staring at the Clemson dugout… literally nothing. Especially when Caglione did it earlier in the game.

Thanks, had the game on mute while web surfing, so missed that. Reversed to catch the comments.Well, I feel better, but the loss still stings.

Also, like 74 says, you gotta stay under control (Mathes).Guess that goes for Leggett and Bakich, too, eh?

Sure wish our pitcher and not their batters could’ve been the one to get pumped up to ‘win the battles’ in the bottom of the inning…..sigh.

The Mathes situation was just weak on the umpires behalf. He was directing his celebration with the guys in his dugout, nothing toward Florida. I had more of an issue with Darden's excitement striking out the last hitter he faced in the 1st inning he pitched than that.

That was Ben McDonald who said that. I heard it and thought wow he didn’t hold back. He actually called it embarrassing.

I would argue that those Umps ARE NOT embarrassed.
Corrupt people don’t know what embarrassment is. Ever heard of a Mafia Godfather that was embarrassed to be a Mafia Godfather?
