David Hood, or some investigative reporter, needs to uncover the reason. It must have something to do with them and their first season at Clemson.

It is definitely a statistical anomaly. It's not quite in the realm of absurd, but it's certainly noteworthy.

I think it's absurd if a team loses out on an elite player bc of squabble they may have had with his school before he even thought about playing college FB when they started their franchise!!!

Beginning in 1995 when the Panthers first joined the NFL, there have been 111 Clemson players drafted. This includes the 3 drafted so far in the 2023 draft. Assuming 7 picks per draft (which is inaccurate, it's more), the Carolina Panthers have passed on drafting a Clemson player 192 times as of today.

Geographical location probably (I hope)isn't a huge factor...

in the Panther FO draft selection process. But reportedly the Falcons do take "geo local"under great consideration and prefer to stear clear of Georgia Bulldogs. But they also took a RB with the 8th pick(unwise) for any NFL franchise but they are in full rebuild mode which downgrades the move to f ng stupid nearly as bad as there refusal to draft Georgia Bulldogs-

Fine by me. Hoping or wishing Buffalo drafted all of them. Just resigned Lawson! Ecstatic about that. Played pretty darn good last year.

Yesterday was the first time the Ravens drafted a player from Clemson. Where is all the silly anger against them?

Baltimore isn't 2 hours or less in distance to Clemson like Charlotte is.... That's why.

for their team, not the hometown fav, and people differ on who the best player is. If you just drafted the hometown fav, you'd quickly be run out of town. They want to win, plain and simple. Now who the best player is a subject of much debate.

I guess no Tiger could have npbeen more help than when they took two awful qbs in I think the second round, Jimmy Claussen and the guy from Appalachian State. It’s not like they have passed over mediocre Clemson players and gotten real jewels. I pull for them to lose every game.

congress assigned an independent special investigator to delve into the apparently (30 years of unsanctioned but systematic(not systemic: slightly different meaning)exclusion), specifically tasked with finding if player's civil rights were/are being violated by such a divisive standard operating procedure the Panther front office continues to employ as it relates to player acquisition. Congressional hearings to be held at the conclusion of the investigation. –More tax dollars pi$$Ed away by the Fed govt, what a shock—
